Dr Kwan Chia is Specialist General Practitioner, He is currently Medical Consultant at Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and is Adjunct Lecturer at Flinders University. He is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He graduated from Flinders University, and has worked across different rotations at Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital, South Coast District Hospital, as well as hospitals in New South Wales and Hong Kong. He has completed a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine, Sydney Child Health Program and Certificate in Practical Dermoscopy.
Dr Chia enjoys all aspects of medicine particularly paediatrics, neurodiversity, disability health, urgent care, and chronic disease management. Dr Chia has lived experience with neurodiversity. He sees a lot of children and adolescents and enjoys working collaboratively with their families.
When not working, Dr Chia enjoys spending time with his young family and getting involved in advocacy work for the disability community.
